The world as Morgana Burton knew it vanished in an instant.

For Morgana, her life was finally beginning. Growing up in the small town of Norridgewock, Maine, she never thought that she would find herself studying medicine at Cambridge University. Until suddenly, a total blackout plunged the planet into chaos and darkness.

Stranded far from home, Morgana must rely on the skills her family taught her; skills that most of the world has forgotten. As she navigates the dangerous new landscape, she encounters other survivors: those desperate to rebuild, those willing to destroy, and those who will stop at nothing to seize control.
