Damien Russo is the beautiful bane of my existence. Once he was my everything, and I was his, but now I'm not even mine because this traitor heart still beats for him even after all the betrayal and pain he gave.
I met Damien for the first time when I was in second grade. Nobody dared come near him. I was reluctantly paired with him for a project, and that's when it started. Damien was my best friend. To the world, he was the cruel mafia king and businessman but to me, he was the boy with the cruel smile and fists always bloodied for me. I thought of him as my guardian angel in disguise. But he turned out to be the devil in disguise. Damien then betrayed me and left me shattered and broken, alone to pick up my broken pieces. That night I ran away. To the world Amber Cavendish was dead. For 4 years I didn't hear from him until now.

"Missed me, love?"

Now he kidnapped me and took me to his island. He says it was all a lie to protect me. But this time the tables have turned. I won't believe him as easily as before. He'll have to prove it all.

"Damien this is madness."
"Love, this is our madness. Now that I have you back I'm never letting you go. Ever." He says attaching his forehead to mine.
At this point, I realized that Damien was on a path of destruction, and he would destroy both me and himself.
