After being killed by MePhoneX, Lightbulb found herself in some sort of city, far away from her home. Adapting to her new life has proven to be difficult, but at least she has her friends by her side!
...Some of them, anyway. Lightbulb hadn't seen Paintbrush since she died.
That is, until, she noticed them while running an errand. Initially overjoyed to reunite with her friend, Lightbulb quickly realized that something was wrong.

i disown this fic lmao i made so many weird and uncomfortable writing choices in it. keeping it up for archival purposes only. Baseball, Lightbulb, and eventually Balloon are captured by Test Tube and forced to partake in experiments that slowly get more and more dangerous. Meanwhile, their friends back at Hotel OJ are desperately trying to find them. That *is* who this story is about, is it not? Yes yes, of course. How would we forget our beloved Paintbrush, famous across all of the seasons of II. What happened to them? Well, they started an art class, every wednesday they would help their students get better at painting. But soon enough, they found a new interest. Finger Painting. They loved how much control they had, they loved how easy it was to glide their finger against the canvas. One day, they accidentally spilt some blood onto their canvas. They tried to rub it away, but.. It felt good. Even better than paint. They loved the feeling of the blood against the canvas, rubbing into it and creating an amazing picture. How could they not like it? But they couldn't use it again, they could use a substitute.
