It had long caught up with Felix. Day after day, he sat on the train on his way to university. Most days it was overcrowded, stuffy, and far too noisy. Snagging a window seat was the best he could hope for. But by now, he knew every house they passed outside, every tree, and every single blade of grass, making the window seat far less attractive. But this way, he didn't have to stare at the people around him or study the floor in front of him endlessly.
He knew the faces of the passengers on the train by heart by now. For example, the older gentleman with a mustache and hat who boarded the train every morning during rush hour, even though he was retired, just to chat with people. Those who knew him were well aware and fled as soon as they saw him. Or the young fake-blonde lady with a ton of makeup and the resting bitch face. He knew all the faces well enough.

But not that of the young man who one day boarded two stations after Felix' and who more and more caught the blonde's attention ride after ride.

Who was the mysterious man captivating Felix this much, and where did he go every day? Would he find the courage to talk to him, and if so, how would the stranger react?
