As I continued my stroll through the park a particularly dense patch of fog appeared in front of me, I hesitated for just a moment, it was so thick that I couldn't see through it, but I started to hear people talking on the other side. I stepped to the side of the fog but couldn't see past it, so I walked slowly as I stepped through it so I wouldn't bump into anyone. As I stepped through the fog, the world around me seemed to shift. Sounds became muffled, and time itself felt as though it had slowed to a crawl. I could barely see my own hand in front of my face as I moved forward. I felt sick, like static in my head, like I was going to vomit.
My balance was off to a point, and I was sure that the world was spinning now. The fog was not getting any thinner. Was my oxygen being affected by it? I wasn't having any symptoms of a heart attack that I could tell, but I felt like I was all over the place and couldn't stabilize most of my thoughts let alone my being able to stand. Then, quite suddenly, I emerged from the other side of the fog, and I felt that everything had changed. I fell to the ground and closed my eyes trying to feel better, trying to gather what just happened. I had never felt this sick let alone this, and it made no sense at all. I put my hand to face covering my eyes when I heard a voice and footsteps approaching me.
