Nora Dusk, a 15 year old girl who lived her whole life residing in Vancouver, Canada, but did not know many people nor did she have many friends because she liked to stay alone in the peace of her own mind and thoughts. Due to her often staying alone-distancing herself from others at school-she was bullied. Even her own friend started drifting away. The only people with whom she could talk without worrying were her parents-Amelia Dusk and Joseph Dusk-and few close friends.

During the month of September, her parents inform her that they will be moving to the U.S. in October as her father got promoted at work. Though others would be sad to move away from the place they grew up in, Nora was joy filled as she had always hoped to move away and start a new life, but also felt a pang of pain to leave behind her dearest friends.

Few days after moving to the U.S.-San Francisco-Nora still feels...weird. As if she's missing something of hers but she has everything. To ease this weird feeling, Nora decides to go to a river and sit by its side and watch as the sun sets.

When Nora goes there, she finds 3 other teens. Hunter Astor, a poet who expressed his emotions as poetry. Aire Dridge, an artist whose paintings are God's blessings. Kai Judes, a guitarist dreaming to get on stage.

When the group of friends notice Nora, Aire invites her to sit with them. As the 4 young ones talk and chat more and more, Nora finds herself smiling like she has never before. The weird feeling-Melancholy-gone.

Being with the 3 teens, Nora finds the true her within her heart, discovers herself perfectly, and finds her true home. Not in a place, but 3 people.
