I heard you're a player. So let's play a game. Let's sweet talk, Let's play fight, Let's talk 24/7. Let's tell each other goodnight and good morning everyday, Let's take walks together, Let's give each other nicknames, Let's hangout with each others friends. Let's go on dates, let's talk on the phone all night long, Let's hold each other, Let's kiss and hug. And whoever falls in love first? Loses
People's feelings are not toys to be played with.
Julie Moore, was your average high school girl, that always looked at things the wrong way since "The Incident". She may be rough on the outside but she's just afraid to live her life. Fairytales, Happily Ever Afters, Prince Charming's, it's all stupid. At least to her it is, while the rest of the school looks up to Mr.Popular, Terrence Reese. Captain of the Lacrosse Team, all the girls believe he's truly the guy that every girl should have, except Julie. One problem with Mr.Reese, he's a player. Not player as in he's play sports but plays with girl hearts instead. Tables are turned when Julie takes on a bet to give Terrence a taste of his own medicine. With her attitude and stubborn mind, his irresistible charm and childish antics. They wouldn't dare fall for each other, or would they?
Josephine Pryce will do anything to get out of Lakeville even if it means simply tutoring her arch-nemesis Flynn Cauley. Except when it comes to him, things aren't always simple.
***
Jo and Flynn couldn't be any more different than they already are. She's an uptight, type 1 diabetic and captain of the debate club and he's a notorious womanizer with a devil-may-care attitude and seemingly nothing to worry about. But now he needs help with English and she needs money for college. So regardless of the existent feud between them, she accepts to be his tutor in her school's online peer-tutorship program.
But things aren't that straightforward when it comes to him. A misconception and desperation later, they decide to become a fake unlikely couple, solely because Flynn needs to make his crush jealous and Jo needs her ex to understand that it's over. Besides, she's partly in love with the hot, gentlemanly school paper president and the only way he'll notice her, is if she somehow becomes popular. Everything will be fine as long as they follow the rules. But then again, rules are meant to be broken.
