𖦹°‧ | The twin-tailed girl skated around the diner with her puffy blue dress and frilly off-white apron blowing in accordance to her movement, a soft smile on her porcelain face as her blue eyes sparkled gorgeously in the bits of yellow sun that did shine through the diner. So carefree in such an eternal hell. "Be careful, I don't want you to slip." I chuckled softly. As much as I could to keep my eyes off the oddly direct and unnerving mannequins, I stared at Miku, being an infinitely better sight, after all. I felt calmer by the second. "I won't, I won't - I've gotten used to this, silly! At least I try to be, I think. Can we even get hurt here...?" Miku asked, setting her assigned order on a customer's table. Her smile faded just a tinge. I hummed, "I don't know. I'd assume not. But, let's not take the risk. If something happens to you, what are we gonna do about it?" "Eh, you're right," Miku giggled, her sweet grin returning at a snap, "don't worry, then! You're so overprotective, Teto, I'll be fineeee!" ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Summary: Two women wake up in a world that they both do not recognize, and amongst the bright colors, false smiles, and terrifyingly unthreatening performances, painful hypnosis is a cornerstone of this weird reality they've found themselves in, and Teto Kasane, Miku Hatsune's best friend and colleague, is desperate to find a way out for both of them. Will Teto's Ultimate Escape plan ever work, or will they both forever be stuck in a cycle of inertia? This story contains Hatsune Miku x Kasane Teto elements, and will have graphic violence in later chapters. Please read with an open mind. The cover art is by @ssabdeog from twitter.

Vocaloid Tales: The Summer and Winter Garden

11 parts Complete

Set in a fantasy world inspired by Renaissance Europe, Miku Hatsune is the only daughter of a merchant. Growing up in a small village, she's always been scared of tales of the "Demon Prince" whose wickedness towards a fairy placed him under a powerful curse and he now preys upon innocent girls. Little does she know the Demon Prince is Prince Kaito of Shion, who has spent the decades since being cursed in near total isolation, with only the ghostly spirit of his faithful knight Gakupo and his enchanted garden to break up the tedium. When fate leads to Miku being forced to spend the winter in his castle, he thinks he may be close to earning his freedom. But can the superficial Miku ever come to love a beast? And more importantly, can Kaito overcome his own fear of rejection to accept it? The Vocaloids take on roles in an adaptation of the many folktales that have come together to form "Beauty and the Beast." The tale is as old as time, but love is never simple - especially with Vocaloids! Now complete! Cover art commissioned by me and painted by BooS2 over at DeviantArt.
