Eggman is on the loose again and Sonic, along with Tails, Knuckles and Amy, gather to stop him. But, when it looks like they cleared all of the robots, Shadow shows up, brainwashed by Eggman, and fights the group. This gives Eggman the perfect distraction, after getting rid of Tails off his back, to aim his "deadly" weapon to them, which, in typical Eggman fashion, backfires, affecting everyone mentioned.
On the other hand, 2 years after the events of Tears of The Kingdom, Link and Zelda discuss their future plans in the rebuilt and renovated Hyrule Castle, a discussion which abruptly ends when disrupted by a loud, abnormal sound.
