An enemy in the shadows calls Sherlock's name, wanting to play a game, and Teddy is not exempt from this. The mysterious Moriarty has caught Teddy in his web and she is forced to play her part in The Great Game. As the days go by and the danger grows, however, Teddy begins to wonder if coming home was the right thing to do. Some things should just be left in the dark where they belong. Story Warnings: Violence, mild offensive language, and brief mentions of sex. A/N: I wrote this years ago when I was 13/14. I'm 18 now and I can safely say that my writing has improved dramatically since I wrote this. As the series progresses you will probably notice this. However, I'm too busy to come back and edit this, so I hope you can forgive 14 year old me for her writing. She really did try, and maybe one day I'll come back and fix things up. To be very clear, I do not own Sherlock or any of the Sherlock characters. This is a work of fan-fiction. I actually wrote this a year and a half ago, months before The Abominable Bride premiered, but I've always been too scared to post it. But now, only three days before the premiere of Sherlock Season 4, if I'm ever going to post it, it has to be now, before Season 4 either confirms or contradicts what I have written here. Basically, Mary has her baby, but Moriarty returns to take his revenge. This story is very angsty, but it gets better towards the end, despite a well-loved character meeting her death. There is some Johnlock and some Sherlolly, so shippers of those ships might have some mixed feelings about this story. This story has been written as a screenplay.

"Mr. Watson, I am aware that you want something more then your dull civilian life. This is the offer that you've been waiting for." Still uncertain, John wavered. He decided to at least take a look at the file Mycroft handed him seconds ago. Nothing caught his eye as he flitted mindlessly through the pages. Then his eyes landed on the photo and John's breath caught in his throat. His sharp cheekbones and impossible eyes were undeniably the ones of the breath-taking man he had bumped into on the street earlier.
