When all things fail, she decides to go to a party her friend invited her to, hoping to let loose and forget all her problems, but what she didn't know was that this was a typical frat party, meaning Liliura was going to have to be extra careful. At least she tried...until she decided to take a drink from a random guy. She blacked out only to wake up in a holding cell. It didn't help that she didn't remember anything that happened at the party or that the tattooed Greek god sitting next to her invaded every thought in her mind. -𐀔- "Do you by any chance have 50,000 dollars?" I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Why would a girl like her need that much money? It must have something to do with why she was in the holding cell. When she noticed I didn't answer her eyes shined with nervousness. Usually I'd like to see the uneasiness in people but, on her, I'm not so sure I like it. "Why do you need it?" I said, causing her eyes to widen as she quickly averted her eyes to anything else but me. "Well, I might have destroyed a very expensive painting and I kind of need to pay the people back-and before you say anything, it wasn't my fault, it was drunk me fault." I let out a sigh and ran my hand through my hair. Attracted to His Cold
It wasn't really the result I was looking for. In fact, it was even better. I never really thought that this would happen to me. I never believed someone could love, well, me. But they did. He did. And despite his 'reputation', despite his lifestyle, despite everything everyone had ever told me, I loved him just as unconditionally. But will everything stay in harmony? How long will my paradise last for until my past comes back? Will they haunt me? Catch me? Kill me? "Livia? Tiago?" I ask, my voice breaking slightly. If they're here, then.... "Where is he? I run towards him without a second thought, sprinting full speed at him, and jump into his awaiting arms. He engulfs me in the warmest hug I've ever felt, entrapping me entirely - not that I mind. I cry in joy at finally being reunited with him as I bury my head into his neck, burrowing myself into him and vowing never to let him go again. Unwrapping myself from him, I look up at into his eyes. They're filled with love and relief, the same emotions I imagine my eyes are filled with. That quickly changes when his face contorts into one of pain. "Cole?" my brows furrow in confusion. He lets out a pained and strangled noise before he drops to his knees, collapsing at my feet. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least.
