Latrice is started out as your average nerd, always being picked on, Mainly by Jack the jerk off which is what she called him behind his back. So her freshman year of highschool really sucked, well somewhat because she had Franco who would secretly hang out with her whenever he could, Franco was Jack best friend since they were in elementary. So that's why he would secretly hang out with Latrice and even sometimes distract Jack as much as he could to keep him from bullying her all the time. One day Latrice and her parents temporarily move away during her soft more year, because her dad owns a security company which deals in all kinds of home protection and body guards for famous people and crime Lords as well. When she comes back almost 3 years later in the beginning of her senior year let's just say a lot has changed.
