Author's Note: This book contains mature themes and "dead dove" content that may be disturbing or triggering to some readers. Please proceed with caution. Topics explored include-but are not limited to-emotional, physical, and psychological abuse, potential sexual assault, death, torture, manipulation, and graphic gore. These elements are written with narrative intent and are never glorified. Everything in this story is purely fictional and does not reflect real-life events or individuals. This book exists in a world of fantasy and darkness, and while the emotions may feel real, the circumstances are not. If any of these subjects are harmful to your mental health or comfort, please prioritize your well-being above continuing. Book Description: Dula was born of both light and fire-daughter of Aldra, the revered Goddess of Divine, and Arrin, a powerful sorcerer descended from the infernal planes. But instead of being celebrated, she is shunned. To her divine kin, she is a stain. To her father's people, a threat. Raised in isolation and treated as a curse, Dula carries both holy blood and demonic wrath-and no place to call home. When a celestial war begins to ripple through the realms, Dula finds herself reluctantly entangled in its chaos. Her parents, long estranged, each want to use her as a pawn. Her siblings want her dead. And the gods? They want her power sealed or extinguished-permanently. But Dula is done being silent. Guided by visions, haunted by the screams of realms she's never touched, and drawn toward a cursed prophecy that seems to center on her, Dula sets out to reclaim her fate. Along the way, she'll encounter rogue angels, corrupted seers, forbidden magic-and a mysterious warrior with secrets that mirror her own. To survive, Dula must embrace all sides of her lineage-even the monstrous ones. Because sometimes, to save the world, you have to be willing to burn it down first. ~ Emma Rose

Based off a prompt on Tumblr: "I want a superhero series where they have powers that 100% contradict their personalities". Molly grew up as a fisherman's daughter in a village by the ocean, so naturally, it was a surprise to her and those around her when she acquired fire powers. Everyone around her had some sort of magic, but they all were compatible with who they were. Molly's mother had died in a fire for Aglea's sake! (Note: Aglea is a goddess who's name just happens to resemble a Greek goddess. They're very different.) Jax was the son of a rich blacksmith, who shocked everyone by developing water powers, and strong ones at that. When the two meet, they go on a journey to save Molly's village from a witch who wants their magic for her own. If they can't stop her, her icy grip will smother the world. Will something other than friendship develop over this trip? Only time will tell. (I don't own the cover image if you know who it belongs to, tell me so I can credit them. Also, you have no idea how tempting it was to put Fire Boy and Water Girl as the cover. I mean, reversed genders, but still.) Some of the magic bits are heavily based off of ATLA.
