After imigrating from Zaun to Piltover and losing their parents, Vi and Jinx move in with their uncle Silco, leader of the drug business in Piltover's most sketchy area. Struggling to adjust to a new life and school, their relationship is strained by Jinx's mistake that led to their parents' death. Years later, after Vi gets out of juvie and a terrible event happens to Jinx, the sisters are forced to attend a new, fancier school in Piltover's richest area.
