Jaune Arc is known as the "Weakest" Student in Beacon, his records and combat skills are the lowest and no one, and I mean no one, takes him seriously in the Academy of Beacon. His friends and Team care for him, but he doesn't get the kind of bond he has back home. But we all know there is a huge secret that Jaune is hiding, one that nobody in the 4 Kingdoms know, except for a few certain individuals. Jaune Arc comes from the Empire of Arcadia, a large Continent filled with numerous amount of Nations and Races. Nobody in the 4 Kingdoms knows of their existence nor knows about the Life, Jaune lived before he was sent there to hide against the Forces of Evil. But a higher Entity wishes for those close to Jaune and those that are important to this world, to know of this secret.

Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.

Title inspired by Mitmite2 Most of the Jaune Arc fanfictions I read just aren't good enough. They either make him impossibly op or he's unjustly betrayed. And too many of them give him a harem. It's getting pretty old so I decided to change that. As a child, Jaune Arc decided that he would become a huntsmen just like his hero of a great-great-grandfather. But his father can't train him after an accident and the rest of his family doesn't know how. So he tries to teach himself. Of course he's failing miserably. With his dream seemingly impossible to achieve, he decides to continue trying to train himself, but then a willing stranger comes along. What next for our wannabe hero. Only time will tell. He gets training lessons from Pyrrha and yet it's still isn't enough, even his friends already know that whenever he is going against someone in Combat Class. They know he will lose, it is a given fact. But in reality, all that was a lie. Jaune was known as the Strongest Swordsman in his home and his entire act of being weak was all a ruse. Jaune wanted to be a Hero, he thought Beacon would be the place for it. But it's not But on one fateful day, something or someone called out to him. Where they offered him a chance to be a Hero, to be something even greater. Jaune accepted it without any hesitation, not knowing what dangers he will face in this new journey. But as well all know, fate has it's ways.

It is taking place in the New Era of Mortal Kombat 1 and MK11. Following Jaune's demise, he was forced out of Beacon and abandoned by everyone who knew him because his fake transcripts were leaked into the public world. Jaune was transported into the Mortal Kombat universe, where he became one of the most skilled warriors amongst the Lin Kuei. After he refused to aid Kronika and was sent into the void, Jaune escaped alongside Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Fujin. Now, he and his allies must travel back in time and save the timeline. But Jaune will realize that not all people are who they appear to be. (Important: The original creator of this story is Arcanus the Scribe. He and I were planning on rewriting it together. However, he is currently struggling with personal issues and has allowed me to continue it.)
