Luigi follows Summrs through the labyrinth of hallways, his footsteps echoing against the cold walls.

The entire structure of the boy seems too large, too imposing for someone like him. It's not the kind of place he's used to. His heart thuds harder in his chest, his mind racing. He wants to say something, anything, to fill the oppressive silence, but the boy's quiet presence beside him makes his words freeze on the tip of his tongue.

"So, uh," Luigi begins, his voice crackling a little, "this place is... pretty huge." He feels like an idiot the moment the words leave his mouth, but Summrs doesn't seem to mind. In fact, Summrs grins, a glint of amusement in his eyes.

"That's an understatement," Summrs says, his tone casual, as if this towering mansion and its secrets were as normal as a stroll in the garden. "You'll get used to it. At least, I hope you do."
