A Choice of Fate (Hiccup x Fem Reader Fanfic)

This fanfic takes part during the end of HTTYD 2. (Astrid and Hiccup never had any romantic relationship in this timeline) This is also my first fanfic, so I'm sorry if it's not that good!

As the daughter of the chief of Hjartalund, a hidden tribe within a forest, surrounded by mountains, you are meant to be an example of a perfect future heir. Your stepmother ensures that you follow your father's orders, even if they can be quite annoying. You know your responsibilities, however you believe that you have another purpose in life than being chief. That was until you heard news that Drago Bludvist had been defeated, an enemy of your village, by someone named Hiccup who came from the Isle of Berk. You become intrigued, eager to learn more, and hoping to settle an alliance with your tribe and Berk. This alliance was meant to help each other, mainly to protect dragons from danger that comes their way. You would make a choice, causing an impact that would completely alter your fate.
