My first fanfiction. Also my first Pokemon related story.
And to get this out of the way, I do not own Pokemon. It belongs to their respective owners. This is just for entertainment from a huge Pokemon fan.
This story features Joe, my author avatar and my Pokemon OC. He was made as a result of my strong love for Pokemon and how I have a wild imagination especially ones involving Pokemon adventures.
Joe is basically playing the Ash role except he's portrayed as more smarter, competent and sensible as well as taking his Pokemon battling more seriously than Ash and not getting too worked up over getting ahead of others.
He also has a penchant for Ghost types especially Gastly, Haunter and Gengar which makes him stand out from the rest. He also travels with Misty and later on her 3 sisters Daisy, Violet and Lily much to his chagrin mainly due to his (initial) disdain for girls. But keep in mind, he's 10 during the story as it's set in 2004 and he eventually warms up to girls by his Kalos trek (which I will write eventually.)

Pokémon: Kanto Summer Camp
Hello, I'm Nocturnal Jay! Devoted Christian! I used to also make these stories on a YouTube channel, but I opted to end that and focus on writing without being limited to screencaps. I feel more free with just doing text versions! This story was my first one from my old channel. I started writing this in 2016 and finished in early 2018. It's a nice, comedic, feel-good story with some drama and sadness thrown in there. It'll feature a lot of shippings, most of which are with Ash. It's written in mainly script format, but with some shades of prose as well. I prefer script format for several reasons, so please be open-minded. I know it might not look like normal stories, but I hope you still find it worthwhile! It contains about 40 characters, more or less, who attend a summer camp in Kanto. The characters are averagely about 18 or older (yes, pretend that it makes sense for 18-year-olds to be at a summer camp, just pretend!). I tried to keep a lot of realism with this story that I wasn't seeing with other ones. Apologies in advance for how cringe it is, haha. In the Pooh's Adventure of Star Wars movies, the only companions Ash has with him are Misty and Brock, as such I decided to do this fanfic set in my continuity of the Pooh's Adventure series to explain where some of Ash's friends were, as well as some other characters in my continuity, at least during Episode 2 Attack of the Clones, specifically during the First Battle of Geonosis. This story was published on the Pokemon Brick Bronze Wiki, a fan forum for the Roblox game known as Pokemon Brick Bronze. The game has sadly been deleted since then due to copyright issues, but it continues to live on in my memory *sniffles*. As it is based off of a now-deleted, fan-made Pokemon game, the appeal will be very specific. Primarily, I posted this story here for laughs, and to see how I've improved since then. This story DID receive a lot of praise while it was in the works, however, looking back on it... I think it kinda sucked, to be blunt. A what if I was in Pokemon fanfic. Once a upon a world, there was humans and creatures that are called "Pokemon". The humans and these so called "Pokemon" lived in harmony.. well, not exactly. There was an organization called "Team Rocket". Their evil boss, Giovanni wanted to use an army of Pokemon to take over the Kanto region. However, this plan of mind changed when he wanted to take over the Pokemon World due to having many powerful pokemons that he can use for his own gain. He theorized that there was a another universe that there was a world just like the world he was living in but different. He and all people was created by this world. He called this world, "Earth" and therefore it was called "The Reality". However, when he told this to everyone, they laughed at him for being stupid. Giovanni wanted to prove them wrong by forcing his workers to research about it to see if this so called "The Reality" is real. Few weeks later.. It was proven true and Giovanni was very proud about it. The workers told him that they'll send a portal to "The Reality" but however, it will lead to someone's bedroom but Giovanni doesn't care and wanted to experiment on the person when they go through it so he orders them to send the portal to "The Reality". Little bit did he know that this will change EVERYTHING and will regret it soon enough. I don't own Pokemons nor its characters from the franchise. I also don't own the pictures on some of the chapters and the picture in the cover was from Google but I edited it. I will have my OCs in here. This idea is inspired by @pokemon-fox120. WARNING! Alright, this I've been wanting to do for years. This series will follow my character through his various journeys throughout the pokemon games, with a few samples from the show just for character reasons. This isn't an ash fanfic, He's not even in this series. My rivals name is just the first thing I thought of, so don't rage please. I will deviate from the games a few times to make it a little more interesting, but overall it's the same. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does.
