Em and Rowan are on a journey. And Em is new at being Poseidon's daughter. And little Rowan is just along for the ride.
Em wants to make Poseidon happy, make him love her like a dad should, but she knows she can't. He doesn't even help her and Rowan escape from forces of evil trying to capture her, from her home in Michigan. Luckily she meets Jace, a blonde, independent boy with a sense of humor, who saves her more than once.
