After her mother-in-law accidentally spills a toxic herbicide into the rice jar, the young woman throws it all away. Her mother-in-law, devastated by the waste, cries and curses her for being reckless. Her husband, furious, beats her mercilessly, calling her a wasteful woman. The beating is so severe that she suffers a miscarriage and is left to die alone outside, as her mother-in-law refuses to let her go to the hospital.
But then she wakes up - back on the day the accident happened. This time, she decides to say nothing. Her mother-in-law, still insisting on the importance of saving everything, says, "Just wash it and eat. It's a whole jar of rice, it'd be a shame to waste it."
