In Maèl Davis's veins, it's not blood that flows but musical notes. Born to a pair of musicians, he learned to sing before he could even speak.
Conversely, Ayla Reid began to play out of necessity, making music her only means of communication and the sheet music her alphabet.
At twelve years old, both are admitted to Canada's most coveted school-conservatory, Milky Way High School, where an apparently unbreakable bond forms between them. Suddenly, due to work reasons, Maèl's family has to move to Europe and everything changes. For the first time in years, their symphony is replaced by an immense and unfillable silence.
