In a dystopian future where society is divided into two rigid classes-Owners and Slaves-humans are reduced to commodities, their fates dictated by wealth and power. Prem, a young slave, has known nothing but hardship and oppression, bought and sold by faceless Owners in an endless cycle of servitude. Though his spirit is worn, he clings to a quiet defiance, dreaming of a freedom that feels forever out of reach.

At a slave auction in the gleaming city of Aurelis, Prem is purchased by Boun, a mysterious and wealthy Owner from a powerful family. Unlike the others, Boun is haunted by the cruelty of the system he was born into, struggling with the moral contradictions of his privileged life. Drawn to Prem's strength and defiant gaze, Boun feels an inexplicable connection to the young man he has bought, though he knows the boundaries between them should remain firmly in place.
