(Y/n) Wu-Lockwood is a quiet girl who loves dinosaurs almost just as much as she love being out of the lab. The main problem in her life is that interacting verbally with others does not come to her as easily as it comes to others. For that reason, she learned to command through clicks and whistles while conversing through a notebook given to her by her father. Its more comfortable like this.
But she still gets bored. Her protective father is the head pathologist on Isla Nublar. He realizes after a brief complaint from a troubled rich kid that she needs human interaction with people her age. Even though she wont like it, he sends her to dinosaur camp with hopes that she would come back more comfortable around humans.

Nyima and her athletic older sister Yazmina get the chance to go join Camp Cretaceous, but most people don't know much about her as she is very secretive. Her sister is the only one that knows that she is into hidden mysteries and knows a lot about animals whether they're from Mythology, or your every day animal, or animals that are extinct like the dinosaurs as she loves to read. Another difference is that Nyima has blue hair while her sister has black raven hair. Nyima is secretly a Dinosaur fan, but her favorite Dinosaur is the Velociraptor. Her second being the Tarbosaurus. So, when she meets Phoenix Grady, who works with the Velociraptors she can't help but ask questions. She also becomes quick friends with Brooklynn as they both love a good mystery and that their hair colors are different colors too, she also becomes quick friends with Darius who loves Dinosaurs just like her.
