A Peculiar Droid Family: A Star Wars Story

The Galactic Empire is no more. The New Republic now brings peace and order to the galaxy, which is slowly but surely recovering from the tyranny of the Empire. While remnants of the Empire remain at large, those few tend to stick to the shadows, dealing in illicit business and making sure the Republic doesn't catch wind of their presence.

On the densely populated planet of Coruscant lived a teenage orphan named Cerri Inen. She was a self-taught engineer and a damn good one at that for her age. She makes a living by repairing, tinkering, and reprogramming droids and ships as well. On a night like any other, she stumbles across a merchant carrying with him three droids; two of which were Empire security/sentry droids, and a third, which was from the era of the Clone Wars.

Finding great interest in these three droids, she purchases them and starts immediate repairs and reprogramming on them.

This would mark the start of a story of a woman and her three droid "siblings" in a Galaxy far, far away.
