Grief is a strange thing. It is not dissimilar to a storm, sweeping into one and knocking the wind out of life, leaving the person empty of spirit and heavy with sorrow. It is unrelenting, painfull, often bittersweat.
This fiction is based on the peace that can come with loss, the promises that do not have to be spoken aloud to be hard and strong as a sheer rockface like the walls at Helm's Deep.
I hope this brings peace to you.

Between Our Lines

When grief turns your life upside down and your mum forces you to the other side of the world, with a new world to explore and a cute art teacher to match, there is more than enough story material flowing into Victoria's life, but sadly, it isn't always a work of fiction. Life is just as painful as what you read in books. a teacher-student story.
