With the anniversary of my old lady passing, I wanted to share a short story regarding a dream I had about her three nights after she passed. It's a very special dream to me, as I view it to be spiritual, and reassuring. To know she's safe and sound, means more to me than anything.
I share this story, not only for the chance for others to possibly relate, but for myself.

I Survived
It was like any other day, i was with my daughter, amelia. She was about to fall sleep. She was in so much peace. No worry in the world. Her green eyes were shining, from the light of the moon. They slowly closed, and she drifted off into her soft snoring. For a 3 year old, she sure knows how to mess with your heart. I felt so bad. Her father left. Well, my husband found somebody better i guess. We had her when i was 20, and he left when she was only 4 months old. What a life.
