SUGAR

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐄𝐑 has hit a dead-end in her life. Her bank accounts are nearly drained, her rent has increased, her pay has decreased, and nearly every night is spent fretting over just how, exactly, she will make ends meet.

Having grown up poor, this is by far nothing new to her - only now, she can no longer rely on her parents to scrape by, to be the ones who'd somehow always manage. She's on her own at last, and the role of the 'breadwinner' has been placed across her shoulders. She may only be providing for herself and her three year old daughter, yet still finds herself struggling on an almost daily basis.

Finally deciding to swallow her pride, dignity, and morals; Charlotte turns to what she had always considered a last resort, something that she kept tucked away in the back of her mind should things ever get to this point. Going through a popular California agency, she applies to be a sugar baby; despite the fact that the very term alone made her feel slightly sick and disgusted with herself - especially as she tries her best at raising a three year old.

What she expected? A fat, balding man old enough to be her great-grandfather; someone who looked at her and would see nothing more than a pretty, youthful face, someone who would undoubtedly make her want to vomit no matter how much she was paid.

What she got? A charming, attractive man who may have been twice her age...but who somehow over time managed to look past her outward features and notice the shy, sweet girl who was hidden underneath - a man who craved nothing more than to merely see her smile.
