The Mafia's Informant

It wasn't very often a man like Milly was successful in shady lines of work, because while he possessed the innate talent for it, he lacked any semblance of restraint.

But what he did possess was luck and skill, and those two things had quickly earned him a place as one of the state's most sought-after informants. Luck could only go so far, however, and when a slip up leads to a local mob boss trailing his group's information leaks to Milly, the reckless informant finds himself with one more enemy on his already almost endless list. But the mob boss wasn't at all what Milly had expected, and when the mobster and his men managed to corner him, Milly was surprised when he wasn't faced with a death sentence, but instead a job offer.
