ryan clifford is new to town. he's 15 and he moved from the u.s. to australia after his dad wanted to move back to be close to family. his parents are michael and mary clifford. michael was doing his junior and senior years in new york city and ended up stumbling into mary, a freshman at the time, in a small coffee shop. literally stumbled, he tripped on her backpack and almost threw hot coffee on her and her book. he sat down to apologize and they ended up talking for hours upon hours. mary got pregnant with ryan her sophmore year and michael his senior. and 9 months later was their very own little clifford. dark brown hair and brown eyes that came from somewhere in the family. ryan spent his whole life in america, til his grandparents died. michael and mary decided to move them back to australia, where michael's family lived, along with his best friends, ashton and calum, or uncle cal and ash. ryan started in the middle of the year as a little sophmore who was only 5'4 and really shy. on the first day of school, he bumps into junior, luke hemmings. and well, ryan was no longer worried about the variety of boys there. but he had no idea luke had been so intrigued by him since his first day. michael doesn't want his only child growing up, he's terrified of it. but mary is excited and trying to keep michael prepared for any boy that walks in their house with ryan.
