بسم الله Islam is like a rose. The farther the petals are from the center, the easier it is for them to be plagued with infestation and crinkle up and die. Petals close to the center receive layers of protection and the best nutrients. Muslims that aren't close to Islam fall prey to their peers and environment so easily versus the Muslim's closer to Islam who are the last one's to be victimized to the surrounding world. Meet Layana Ansari. She is what you would call an outsider petal, for she had fallen prey to infestation. Wearing miniskirts and eyeliner, she rules her high school along with her best friend Aurora Kingston and her perfect boyfriend Cameron Evans. She has even given up her Muslim name and taken to being called 'Lana'. No one would ever put 'Lana' and Islam in the same sentence because it just wasn't possible. Meet Seyfullah Ansar. He would be considered an insider petal; his life revolving around Islam. It was his sanctuary from the evil world filled with evil people. He is truly put to the test when his family moves and has to attend a new school. Layana and Seyfullah were two people with no relation to each other before Allah (SWT) destined for them to meet. With a path full of turns and thorns, there is no telling what might happen. (Not your traditional love story) (This story was started 5/1/15)

*** Yemen...it was the home of angry and pained Lailah Maqsood. At the age of 17 she had to flee to a refugee camp along with her four other siblings. Losing her parents and leaving behind her brother, Tahir had broken her heart to an extent where it felt that it could no longer be repaired. Her Iman slowly drained out of her. Her mother's sister, that moved to India, saved them when the news reached her. She wants to reconnect with The Almighty but her shame prevents her from doing so. Her best friend Iffat tries to help but the stubborn girl won't budge. One day, whilst sleeping in class a memory comes in the form of a nightmare leaving her in tears and an emotional mess in front of everyone, her "enemy" included. Iffat decided then and there that she has had enough and makes Lailah release that she desperately needs to turn back to her Rabb. It also peeked the curiosity of Yazaar Malik. *** Yazaar has always been kind and loving but for some absurd reason Lailah despises him. He makes it his business to find out what haunts her as his heart broke when he heard her cries in class. It confused him because Lailah was a stranger but it broke him to see her emotionally unstable. She won't allow him close to her and he knows that the only solution to getting close to her is marriage. He hears that she has to return to Yemen making the proposal and marriage rushed. All he wanted to do was help remove her pain and anger. *** Will their story be successful? It is filled with twists and turns, happiness and sadness. A story about love, war and peace. Enjoy:)
