People have hearts, sometimes they break, then all that's left is the memoirs.

Honestly, they're loads of girls who people call 'that girl.' The Mary Sue, The Good Girl, The Mean Girl, The Nerd. All of those people are labelled. Like any other girl Logan Slant has a title too - 'awkward.'

This could all be fine she could live with her awkward title and continue on with her life but of course 'that boy' has to mess it up for her. This boy in particular is one of the more popular kinds - bad boys. The bad boy is blackmailing her though he doesn't call it 'blackmailing,' he calls it a win-win situation for both of them. What is he blackmailing her with? Living alone of course - her parents haven't returned home for two months and they haven't contacted her.

So this said bad boy due to blackmail ends up living with her! He is over nineteen (he flunked some grades).

He's the answer to her legal problems.
She's the answer to his housing situation.

What could go wrong?

Everything does.

With a healthy dose of secrets, one sided crushes and a whole lot of bad one liners these two have their work cut out for them.
