Oceane Duval has always prided herself on having her life under control. A brilliant architecture student with her sights set on graduation, she's too busy chasing her dreams to deal with her parents' relentless attempts at matchmaking. The same goes for Owen Bradford, her old high school classmate turned engineering student, whose family is equally determined to set him up with "the perfect girl." When they unexpectedly reunite at their high school reunion, an impromptu scheme is hatched: fake dating. Pretending to be each other's significant other seems like the perfect way to get their well-meaning but meddlesome families off their backs. What starts as a harmless ruse quickly spirals into a rollercoaster of hilarity and heartfelt moments. Between awkward family dinners, unplanned public displays of affection, and the realization that their chemistry might not be so fake after all, Oceane and Owen are forced to confront what they truly want-not just from each other, but from life itself. "And Yet, Here We Are" is a sparkling romantic comedy about old flames, new beginnings, and learning to embrace love when it's the last thing you planned.
