The world is said to be created by Ancients, splitting races into thirteen and each claiming a part of the world for themselves. These Ancients possessed powers known as Soul Matter(Soul), which are the greatest and most dangerous power of all. However, without eternal life, they pass these powers into chosen vessels who become Incarnates. In the present world, a war is bound to occur as the Incarnates, each with different motives, discover each other's existence. 

In this same cruel world, lived a young boy named Kael. Fueled by curiousity, he aims to be a knight in order to know more about the world. In his conquest for knowledge, he is about to discover that he, himself is a mysterious existence.
