-Note from Az the author-
This is a first person story, all from the perspective of our main character Ivory Foster. It includes romance, angst, idiots in love, non verbal/speech impediments, autistic rep, and Irish rep.
This book also depicts 16 year olds facing issues that I myself have faced at that age in it's original content and dotted about it's HOA scenes. THIS includes:
discussions of intimacy (age of consent in the UK is 16, but you are not legally considered an adult until you are 18, NO UNDERAGE SEX CONTENT WILL BE WRITTEN BY ME EVER), discussions of disabilities, discussions of racism and anti-Irish discrimination, discussions of puberty and periods, and discussions of autism (specifically the outdated diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome).
I've wanted to write/emulate writers who aren't afraid to go into these issues, as I don't see these discussions (specifically women's reproductive health and emotional experiences during puberty) being talked about enough.
-Hope you enjoy, and happy reading!!-
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
