Before it all Began

This is a slow-burn, enemies to lovers, closed-door romantasy with plenty of action and lots of tension between the main character Kiera and the Fae king Azrael.
The Fae have invaded our world, they have destroyed what we have built and they are trying to wipe out the rest of humanity. Except for some of the women.
Kiera is just a normal girl from the Old World, her family isn't rich but they have everything they need. That is, until the Fae arrive. They call for one woman from each region to serve them. Kiera knows that once a girl is taken into the forest, she is never seen again. So once her older sister Iris is called up to be taken to the Fae, she takes her place. She has no idea was is to come, but along her journey she will meet a Fae named Azrael and run into him many times. She can't read his face, but she knows something is off about him. Other than being a spoiled brat who never needed to work for anything in his life. But who is he and why does she keep running into him. How will she free herself and then the rest of humanity?
