Prologue
The night smelled of rain.
Miracle sat by the café window, her hands trembling over her phone. Five years - limang taon nilang pinagsamahan, binuo, pinaglaban. She thought love like that was unbreakable.
A single message lit up her screen.
"I'm sorry. This is goodbye."
That was it.
No calls.
No explanations.
No second chance.
"Collen..." Miracle whispered, tears blurring her vision. Her chest felt like it was caving in, each beat of her heart begging for an answer.
Tinawagan niya. The number you dialed cannot be reached.
Nag-message siya, nagtanong, nagmakaawa. No reply.
It was as if the woman she loved most simply vanished from the world.
That night, Miracle promised herself: Never again. Hindi na ako magpapakatanga. I will rise. I will be strong. Career muna. Wala nang love life.
But as the years went by, kahit gaano siya ka-successful, kahit ilang achievements ang maabot niya, a part of her heart remained unfinished stuck in that unanswered question.
Meanwhile, across the ocean, a girl sat in a tiny apartment in Toronto. Collen held her guitar, her hands shaking. She had read Miracle's messages every single one. But she couldn't reply. Not then.
She whispered into the silence, "Someday... I'll explain. Someday, I'll come back."
And fate, ever playful, was already weaving its plans.
Because sometimes, all it takes is one moment one song, one glance - and suddenly, it's magic.

Finally, he found her in the locker room, and without wasting a second or giving a second thought, he ran to her and hugged her. She was stunned and stiffened at her place with her eyes wide open in shock and surprise by his sudden hug. Her heart started beating erratically.
"Thank you so much, my lucky charm." Prikshit didn't hold back his emotions this time and said what was in his heart. Was it just excitement or something else? He doesn't know.
But hearing the particular word 'Lucky Charm,' Mihika was frozen in her place. Nothing came out of her mouth, and she was numb.
This man is calling her lucky charm when her whole life she just heard that she is nothing but a bad omen.
Prikshit broke their hug and kept saying in one breath in excitement what he was feeling while she was just standing there dumbfounded, "I was so nervous that how would I do it alone, but your presence did everything right, and your words made my nervousness and fear disappear. You said what I actually wanted to hear. I did my life's first critical surgery successfully only because of you, my lucky charm. Thanks for being there for me."
Tears gathered in her eyes on their own, sinking his words, and he was about to palm her face when a nurse came towards the locker room, calling him.
"Doctor Prikshit, the daughter of the patient, wants to have a word with you."
"I am coming." He turned to answer the nurse, and she left, but when he turned again, Mihika was gone.
He sighed helplessly and walked out of the locker room.
