Behind the thick walls of the Kingdom of Galilei, monsters aren't just real- they're protected.
When 19-year old Annetta Marino leaves her village to sell her father's glass artwork in the capital. Expecting the trip to be simple, but it turns into anything but that when she is chased through the slums by a group of strange men. The strangers calling her Lady Castellano- a name she doesn't know, but one that would shatter her world and everything she thought she knew about her family.
Rescued by a dangerous assassin known by everyone in the slums as Morte, Annetta is pushed into a world of an underground mob group, a cult-like religion with secrets, and royals/nobles that hide the truth from their people.

This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life. Note from future self: This story is extremely cringy and only gets worse as it goes on.
