After the Creator was able to take Jack away from Solar, the two have been searching for each other ever since. Jack at points can't control whether or not he has control over what he does, and Solar is losing more and more sleep working on trying to get his son back.
And to think that Solar was just getting used to the idea of being a dad. Of being Jack's dad. To think Jack is helpless to stop his own actions his fake father puts him up to. He's stuck obeying, being nothing more than a machine.
Solar is desperate to get his son back, and Jack just wants his dad; his real dad.

Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. "Yes, however, this mission did not require your presence nor your opinion," he replies candidly. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. Due to a series of strange events the star some how ends up in lunar's hands. unsure what to do when he gets it he decides to hide the fact that he has it until he knows what to do. Deciding what to do became alot harder with two kidnappings, Eclipse being forced to play a more active role in the daycare, Monty and Eclipse each thinking eachother has the star, Lunar was stuck in between it all. this will make a lot more sense if you watch the sun and moon show.....like all fanfics also this is was a human AU but I didn't stick with it I'll go back and fix it at some point.
