The Missing Phoenix

▪︎I ran. As fast as I could. I didn't stop. Not even once. I only paused when I got inside. But I wasn't safe. I saw a boy. The boy was around my age. Maybe a few years older. I needed help. I stumbled over. My feet barely lifting off of the ground. I could barely breathe. My vision was fading. I was losing consciousness. I only had a few seconds, a minute at most. I only got a few words out. But they were the right ones. "Where's the bathroom?!"▪︎
