In the future, the mechanical city of Edo stands as the world's technological and political powerhouse, but it is rife with corruption and tyranny. Amidst a world that has forgotten honor, Raiden, the last samurai robot, rises. Created by Professor Kaito, a genius who believed in ancient values, Raiden is left to wander without his master after Kaito is murdered by a mysterious group known as The Neon Shogunate.

Armed with the legendary flaming sword, Kusanagi Ignis, Raiden embarks on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth behind his creator's death and his own purpose. But his enemies are not just humans-they include advanced robots controlled by Shogun Titan, the tyrannical ruler of Edo.
