Walking Among Beasts

I always thought my mom was just overprotective. She didn't let me stay out late, pushed me to keep a low profile, and always insisted we move every few years. I thought it was because she was scared of the world. She wasn't afraid of the world-she was fearful of me.

The truth came out the night I woke up in the woods, blood on my hands and no memory of how I got there. My mother, Marion Vincent, finally told me what she'd been hiding my entire life: I'm a werewolf, just like my father.

Now, I'm part of a world she spent years running from-packs, rivalries, and laws older than civilization.
