This poem was inspired by a past event in my life.
 Sometimes the people we trust the most, hurt us, even if it's un-intentional, it's still every painful, and writing about the situation actually helped me see it in a different light. 
If anyone has gone through something similar, I suggest talking to somebody about it, so they can give you a different point of view and help you to understand others thought processes.

You ever looked at someone and thought you were probably in a dream? That they couldn't possibly exist in your reality? Like if you open your eyes or speak too loud they will just disappear and become one of those dreams you try so hard to remember but you can't? That is how i feel when i look at her, Kris.
