Soyle is your typical only child living in the suburbs of her city with her typical parents. Her life is comfortable but dull, but she is content. At 18, everyone is expected to attend a ceremony initiated by their state during its inception decades ago. Though it supposedly consists of three stages, no one by any degrees of separation to Soyle have proceeded past the first and she is sure she won't be the first - that is until she is met with bizarre happenings on the day of her ceremony.
