In the story, Amber is cold-blooded and eventually evolves into a forgotten Eevee species. There's an old, overlooked piece of lore that speaks of a Dragon-type evolution once tied to Eevee, but its name and existence were lost over time. Amber's transformation marks the return of this evolution-one thought to have vanished from history.

Ember the Flareon, a respected young adult, found an abandoned Eevee egg and took it in for care. When it hatched, he discovered she was cold-blooded-an unheard-of trait in Eevees. Fearing she'd be targeted by scientists, Ember swore to protect her... only to find things get worse.
