When fate puts you at a crossroads, you know what the right path is. But your heart is still pulled in another direction. A path that's so wrong, so immoral, so different from the life you have envisioned for yourself. But it feels so deeply right.

Life is not a novel, but it has its tropes. And of all the stories my life could've been, it became one of forbidden romance.

Out of everything I could have done-turning away, pushing them aside, obeying the rules- I chose to close my eyes and kiss them back. All of them.
