In the wake of the world government's fall, new threats loom, no matter how many opposing forces may do as well. It's been thirty years since the culmination of the pirate era, giving way to authentic butchery...

Raised beneath grey skies and within the confines of Sakuranbo, the New Marine headquarters, Junko had always believed this to be true. But the same judgement that hid the cracks left by her past would backfire against her, resulting in a blood-curdling felony. Deprived of a shoulder to lean on and unwilling to face the consequences of her actions, she's compelled to find alternatives for survival, dreading her inner demons might catch up with her.

Unknown places, unfamiliar faces, the price for a legacy she refuses to call hers imposed by old enemies of her parentage, and the weight of a secret set to determine the population's true moral standpoint.
