On his 10th birthday, Prince Reed wasn't given an element by The Holders. He was what they call, an Eless, and in this world, Eless's are killed for being different.
However, after his parents found out about this "incident", they immediately hid Reed away from the rest of the world. This caused him to never meet the rest of the royals from the other nine kingdoms.
Eventually, after six years of confinement, Reed was sent to the main Kingdom of the land, the Kingdom of Allemia, due to an old treaty that stated that all second-born royals were to be sent onto an expedition to find a new planet to call home.
So, with zero experience with people who weren't his family, he is to go and meet the other royals he once played games with when he was young. That is, if he can survive the final week on Earth he is given before being sent off. Will he be able to keep a secret while socializing for the first time in a long time? Or will he make a mistake that will cost him his life?..
