Unfortunately, a Pirate's Mate

Unfortunately, Lovelena Porask, a Russian pirate, had to discover during a war that her mate was an infamous merman who's known for killing pirates to protect his creatures. His name was Slawen Karvo.

And...Unfortunately, Slawen couldn't save all his mer people and as a guardian of the ocean he feels irritated by the constant human invasion. For that, he planned an attack against the royal family who not only created pirates but motivated them to keep harassing his people for centuries.

The merman wants nothing more than vengeance against the crown and he will not stop until he brings the head of the king for the sharks to eat. However, as part of his plan, he needed to seduce Lovelena Porask, his mate and enemy, so she would lead him to the royal grounds.

(Slawen is bound to meet the pirate because he often needs to meet Mercalous, a warlock that serves the kingdom. Mercalous is the only one who can clean Slawen from the dark magic that possess him)
