˗ˏˋ 🍄 ‿︵‧ 𝘇𝗭𝘇﹒𓏭 ⊂ 🍒 ,,, You wake up in the middle of 𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚.

A golden field stretches endlessly in every direction, the sun is frying you alive, and the air smells suspiciously... 𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩.

Last thing you remember? Lounging in bed, minding your 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. Now you're sweating buckets in what looks to be Egypt.

Oh, and your powers? 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏𝙇𝙔 𝙂𝙊𝙉𝙀.

Rumor has it your 𝙬𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡, 𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 spouse got fed up (𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣). Something about "𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽," and a bit of "𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀," blah, blah, blah ,,, details are fuzzy. But now you're stuck here. No thunderbolts. No escape. Just a lot of cryptic hieroglyphs, an oddly buff bird-headed dude, and one very unhelpful talking puppy (𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙞𝙙?).

Your mission? Survive this scorching sand trap, dodge Egyptian gods who don't know the concept of personal space, and figure out how to get home. Preferably before you lose your sanity... or worse, your dignity.

It's a battle of egos, divine grudges, and a never-ending heatwave. But hey, what's a little punishment from a partner when you're... well, 𝙮𝙤𝙪?

Who 𝙖𝙧𝙚 you, anyway? Guess you'll find out soon enough ˗ˏˋ🫀‿︵

Destiny Waits for No Man by CarolineJMoon

Keeta was born at the beginning of the Middle Kingdom of Egypt. She was the only daughter of a nobleman that barely made it through. When she turned sixteen years old, her parents gave her to the temples so that maybe one day she could become a powerful priestess and bring good fortune to their family. Keeta didn't mind. Four years into her studies she was noticed by a young man. It was different for her. Never before had any man taken notice of her. He showered her with gifts and rare desert flowers. She wondered why he was so persistent about her even though she was training to become a priestess. Then God Set killed his brother Osiris and his brother's son Horus was out for revenge. Chaos reined down on the mortal plains. The Goddess Isis protected those within her temple the best she could but some worshippers perished due to Set's wrath. All save her. The man that had such affection towards her returned just before the final battle. With everything happening, Keeta didn't realize that the man was actually Set until Isis appeared after he kissed her and revealed him. Isis felt Keeta betrayed her by sleeping with the man who killed her husband. Before Set could stop her, Isis branded Keeta with the Symbol of Eternal Life cursing her. After, Horus banned Set to the Red Desert and for over a century that's where he remained. Keeta walked amongst the mortals and watched as they all perished as she remained the same. It wasn't until after Set was free of the desert did the truth finally come out and by then it was too late. Isis couldn't reverse the curse. Isis then gifted her with an Anubis pup. Amis, the grandson of Set. He aged the same as any God but preferred the look of a pup unless Keeta was in trouble. Then he took on the look of his father along with the powers that came with his full grown self. When he wasn't protecting Keeta, he was often found on his cushy pillow dreaming of sweet donuts.

(Highest rank #12 in sci-fi). When a dangerous ancient artifact hidden by the Egyptian gods activates after millennia, the long-dormant powers of a half-alien boy come alive just in time to save the Earth. But he never imagined winning over a girl would be harder than saving the world. And he may not even do that. THE LONG VERSION: Human life was hard enough for 17-year-old Gil Scott when his father suddenly disappeared from a temple dig. But when the half-alien teen uncovers a conspiracy surrounding the artifact his human dad was hunting, Gil must use his alien powers to track it down before it destroys the planet he calls home. With the help of a beautiful Oasen-human hybrid whose drive to succeed masks her private pain, Gil borrows his mom's spaceship, following the same clues across Egypt as his father. The teens battle strange weather phenomena and rising global panic as they race through the suffocating heat of the desert, through deluged ancient temples, and hidden libraries hiding more than just books. That is until it starts snowing on the Great Sphinx and they unearth a millennial-old message from Ra himself, addressed to Gil, with a choice that will affect everyone's future. Unraveling Ra's remaining clues, they rush to locate the powerful artifact in time. But Ra and the other ancient aliens' thousands-year-old, carefully mapped plan to save the Earth from the Aten has a fatal flaw, and their gamble may cost Gil the only life that will matter to him in the end. And possibly the planet itself. (Cover image: Photo of The Pyramids of Giza from Egypt combined with a Hubble image. Original photographer: Rom Srinivasan, 2005)

"My darling, you will never be unloved by me you are too well tangled in my soul." --- Ennead x Gn!Reader --- (Reader is based off of a hermaphrodite. I don't mean to insult or degrade or fetishize anyone who is intersex.) Being reincarnated into a book wasn't an afterlife you would want. Especially when the book is called Ennead. (Warning: this story will probably and most likely have themes such as ¡nc3st, r@p3 and others, I will put warnings at the start of any chapter if it includes these things.) !¡I do not own the story Ennead, the characters and the story's original plot. However, the story/plot of this book belongs to me and the reader character, aka [__] / Y/N. Not saying I own you irl tho- ¡!
