In Ancaster City, magic is dangerous-and being born with it makes you a target.
Macaria always believed she was ordinary. Just another student, another face in the crowd. Until a violent encounter in a dark alley triggers a strange power in her hands-and binds her to a mysterious wind spirit named Hoshiko.
She's what they call an Unknown-a rare person born with elemental magic. Some are born with fire. Others with water, earth, electricity... and a few, like Macaria, with the wind itself.
But being an Unknown means trouble. Powerful organizations like Shadow Dawn are hunting spirit-bound Unknowns for reasons no one dares to speak aloud. The city is cracking beneath the weight of divine secrets, corrupted magic, and an ancient war that never truly ended.
With danger rising and more questions than answers, Macaria turns to the only person who might know what's going on: Simon, the cryptic barista with a smile too charming and a past he refuses to explain.
The world is shifting. Gods are watching.
And the wind has chosen its vessel.
A dark fantasy filled with elemental power, hidden spirits, conspiracies, and slow-burning secrets-perfect for fans of twisted fates and anime-style storytelling.

The fire elves are a very old species, dating back to the time of The Great War, centuries ago. Elves are distant descendants of the Goddess of Elements, The First Elf. She had four aspects, corresponding to each of the four elements. She gave her elemental powers to her kin, elves and humans and many other monsters. They were Demi-immortal, only to be killed by deliberate intent. They have familiars, linked to their very souls, which they bond with using an ancient ceremony. Elementals, the children of elves after centuries of descent. Humans are the most common species, and are generally magicless. Humans with magic are called mages . Elves are very rare, as all elves went into hiding after the Great War between the gods centuries ago. Occasionally and elf would leave home and into the world, but no fire elf has ever left their home and had children living on the mainland so there are no fire elementals. Fire elves have a bond with the dragons who's volcanoes and islands they shared, a bond that would last generations. In the current day, there is one tribe remaining: the Ryoko Tribe. The name meant "woman who is like the dragon," a fitting name for a tribe led by a head woman. This woman was lady Hyria Tatsu, the eldest of the tribe. Her apprentice goes by the name of Mina Ryoto. Star and Moon, two dragonets, would only bond with Mina. None of the other children were able to bond with the two dragonets. This was one of the reasons Hyria had chosen Mina. Only those of great legends could bond with two beasts. It would be a hard road for her, but being this special could turn out for the best. The world might depend on her one day.
